My weekend

Hi everyone,

Some of my friends know that I belong to a civic organization called the Delicados. Well we had our annual conclave in VaBeach this weekend and I decided to attend. I wasn't able to attend all the activities but I did go to the Sat night ball. It was good to get away.

Since I have lots of free time now I will be participating in as many activities with the Delicados as I can. We hold an annual scholarships fundraiser in the fall in the form of a dance. Look for more info in September.

I am trying to get used to my new life. Its hard because everything is different. There are so many things that I can no longer do or not do as well. I've been told to stop thinking so far ahead and just take it one day at a time. Very hard to do when Im a thinker and planner.

So for right no more spicy food, warm or hot drinks only, no cold things (there goes my ice cream), no swimming pools, and no buffets.
